I know what you mean, specially about SO, it’s good that we have a nice place to be like WDC

I think Stack Overflow is terrible! I often come across links to it when I search on certain coding problems, but I don’t think I’ve ever found a decent answer there, and as you say, people are just awful. Lovely to find some links to similar sites!
I feel guilty about WDC, lol! But I suppose my absence is because I thought it was only temporarily back to the old host and that it would be down again and moved to somewhere else. But now it’s been a few months so I guess it will stay where it is!

I feel fortunate to find some Facebook groups and Slack chat channels dedicated to self-learning developers and beginners. Lots of experienced/expert programmers and developers join these same channels to offer help and mentorship to those who struggle. And of course, I’m still attached to Skillcrush, where they have their own Slack channel for alumni and current students. I also keep in touch with some classmates too who already have web dev jobs and I get all these links from them. ☺

Regarding WDC, I haven’t been active myself. I’m working on a (paid) client web project, so I barely have any time for my own personal projects if you know what I mean. Also, I plan on moving WDC again to a web host (probably on the same host as my client (my brother lol)) that supports SSL (Let’s Encrypt), since it does have problems with Cloudflare.
